Our Repair Warranty & Guarantee
Straight answers about what's covered after we fix your Sub-Zero, Wolf, or Viking appliance, and how the $89 diagnostic fee applies toward your repair.

What's actually covered when we leave your house
Our warranty isn't a marketing slogan. It's a specific commitment tied to the parts we install and the labor we perform, and we'll tell you the exact terms before you sign anything.
Every repair we complete comes with a labor warranty on the specific work performed, plus the manufacturer's warranty period on the OEM-quality parts we install. If the same fault returns within that window, we come back and correct it at no additional charge for labor. We don't require you to re-pay the diagnostic fee for a warranty callback on the same problem.
This coverage applies to the repair we did, not to unrelated failures that show up later. A new dishwasher seal failing prematurely is covered. A separate control board failing six weeks after we replaced a door hinge is a new issue, and we'll diagnose it honestly rather than pretending it's connected just to avoid a second service call.

How the coverage breaks down by repair type
Different repairs carry different practical risk, so here's how we think about warranty coverage across the appliance types we see most in Lone Tree, Parker, and Castle Rock kitchens.
Sealed system & compressor work
Refrigeration repairs on Sub-Zero and Viking units, including compressor and sealed-system service, carry the longest warranty window because the parts and labor risk is highest. We'll state the exact term in writing on your invoice.
Gas range, cooktop & oven repairs
Igniter, regulator, and altitude-calibration work on Wolf and Viking gas appliances is warrantied against the specific fault we corrected. At 5,980 feet, air-to-fuel adjustments are part of the fix, and we verify burner performance before we consider the job closed.
Electrical, control board & wine cooler repairs
Control boards, wiring, thermostats, and wine cooler cooling units are covered for the labor and part installed. If a board is defective out of the box, we handle replacement without charging you twice for the same visit.
How the $89 diagnostic fee works with your warranty
Customers ask us about this more than anything else, so here's exactly how the money and the guarantee fit together.
The $89 diagnostic fee covers the technician's time to drive to your home in Lone Tree, Centennial, Greenwood Village, or anywhere in our South Denver service area, inspect the appliance, and identify the fault. If you approve the repair on that same visit, that $89 is credited directly against the repair invoice, so you're not paying for the diagnosis twice. You only pay the diagnostic fee as a standalone charge if you decide not to proceed with the repair.
If the appliance needs a part we don't carry on the truck, we order it and return to install it. In that case, the diagnostic fee is still credited to the final invoice from the original visit, not charged again for the return trip. Return trips to complete an already-quoted repair are not billed as a second service call.
The warranty clock on labor and parts starts the day the repair is completed, not the day of the initial diagnostic visit. That matters if there's a gap of a week or two while a part ships, which happens occasionally with less common Sub-Zero or Wolf components.
What's covered versus what isn't
Warranty disputes almost always come down to unclear expectations, so we lay this out plainly before we start any work.
| Situation | Covered under warranty | Billed as new work |
|---|---|---|
| Same fault returns on the part we installed | Yes, labor and part re-checked at no charge | N/A |
| Different component fails after our visit | No, it's an unrelated issue | Yes, standard diagnostic applies |
| Damage from a power surge or flood after repair | No, outside our control | Yes, treated as new diagnosis |
| Altitude recalibration drifts on a gas range | Yes, if within the warranty window | N/A |
| Customer declines recommended part, issue recurs | No, partial repairs aren't warrantied the same way | Yes |
We tell customers the warranty terms before we start the repair, not after something breaks again. If we're not confident a fix will hold, we say so on the spot instead of hoping you don't call back.
— Lone Tree Appliance Repair, service policy
Does Lone Tree Appliance Repair offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. Lone Tree Appliance Repair provides a labor warranty on every completed repair plus manufacturer coverage on the OEM-quality parts installed. If the same issue returns within the warranty period, call (720) 575-1433 and we'll return to correct it without an additional labor charge.
Is the $89 diagnostic fee refundable or applied to the repair cost?
The $89 diagnostic fee is credited toward your repair if you approve the work during that visit, so you don't pay it as a separate charge on top of the repair price. It's only kept as a standalone fee if you choose not to proceed. Call (720) 575-1433 to schedule.
What happens if my Sub-Zero or Wolf appliance breaks again after being repaired?
If the same fault recurs on a part we installed within the warranty period, Lone Tree Appliance Repair returns and fixes it at no extra labor cost. This applies to Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, and other major brands we service across Lone Tree, Parker, Highlands Ranch, and Castle Rock; call (720) 575-1433 to arrange the return visit.
How long is the warranty on a Sub-Zero refrigerator repair?
Sealed-system and compressor repairs on Sub-Zero refrigerators typically carry our longest labor warranty window given the complexity of the work. The exact term is written on your invoice at the time of service, and we're happy to state it verbally before you approve the repair.
Are you an authorized Sub-Zero, Wolf, or Viking service center?
No. Lone Tree Appliance Repair is an independent repair company and we are not authorized, certified, or affiliated with Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, or any other manufacturer. We use OEM-quality parts and follow factory specifications, but our warranty is our own, not a manufacturer's.
Do I still pay the diagnostic fee if I decide not to get the repair done?
Yes, the $89 covers the technician's time and expertise to diagnose the problem, whether or not you move forward with the repair. If you do approve the repair on the same visit, that amount is credited to your final bill instead of being an added cost.
What if the part fails again after the warranty period ends?
Once the warranty period has passed, a repeat failure is treated as a new repair with a new diagnostic visit, since parts and conditions can change over time. We'll still be straightforward about whether the same root cause is at play so you're not paying for guesswork.
Does the warranty cover accidental damage or misuse after the repair?
No. The warranty covers the workmanship and part we installed failing on its own. Damage from power surges, flooding, improper installation by someone else, or misuse after our visit falls outside the warranty and would be billed as a new service call.
